NTEC's 5-STAR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES
National Teacher Education Center (NTEC) is dedicated to helping teachers reach their professional goals as educators. We offer outstanding teacher education programs designed to meet the individual needs of teachers and the communities they serve to increase student academic achievement.
NTEC partners with schools to offer a comprehensive, school-based Professional Development program with the following offerings:
Differentiated Instruction Bilingual/ESL Strategies
Response to Intervention Instructional Technology
The NTEC 5-Star Professional Development Series offered to our school partners is a blended format, with online and face-to-face instruction, allowing staff to advance their learning while working at the school.
The Differentiated Instruction Program offered through NTEC presents instructional methods that emphasize meeting the individual needs of students with varying skill levels and backgrounds.
NTEC’s Response to Intervention (RTI) Program includes both academic and behavioral programs based on key RTI elements: high quality curriculum, tiered instruction and intervention, ongoing student assessment, and family involvement.
The Instructional Technology Program focuses on meaningful integration of available technology into day-to-day classroom instruction.
NTEC’s Bilingual/English as a Second Language (ESL) Strategies Program provides teachers with access to research-based instructional practices in order to increase their understanding and implementation of effective bilingual strategies for teaching English language learners.
The NTEC 5-Star Professional Development Series employs best practices as identified by the National Staff Development Council (NSDC).
