NTEC believes the key to effective teaching lies in identifying and training teachers who have a deep commitment to the children in their own communities.

We are dedicated to helping these individuals develop their teaching vocation by offering outstanding teacher training and teacher certification programs designed just for them and the communities they serve. Specifically, we offer, in partnership with Quincy University, a smarter, faster approach to teacher certification (currently, in Illinois or Wisconsin) and a clear, achievable path toward earning a bachelor’s or master’s degree.


We recognize the value of life experience. We give teachers and those who want to dedicate themselves to teaching the opportunity to earn a full-time salary with benefits while working toward teacher certification or a degree. In a short period of time, candidates can achieve their goals and either become teachers or become better teachers.
