MASTER OF SCIENCE WITH A SPECIAL EDUCATION APPROVAL

If you have been looking for special education certification programs, contact NTEC. We can help you accomplish your goal of teaching special education.

The Master of Science in Education is offered to currently licensed teachers who wish to earn a master's degree and a Special Education Approval.

HOW IT WORKS

The special education degree program is offered in a blended, online format, with both online instruction and face-to-face seminars offered at convenient locations near you. The blended format allows you to have a flexible schedule during the day.

As part of this 36-credit program, Special Education candidates will take courses with the credits required to earn a Special Education Approval. Candidates may also elect to take all of the required courses to earn a Learning Behavior Specialist I license. This option will require additional course credits.

You can complete your degree in as short a time as 18 months. There are no testing requirements to enter the program. However, Special Education candidates will need to pass the special education tests required by their state prior to earning an approval or license.
