MASTER OF SCIENCE IN EDUCATION WITH A BILINGUAL OR ESL ENDORSEMENT

NTEC offers ESL degree programs that can help you move ahead in your teaching career. Whether you are seeking your Illinois ESL endorsement or have other goals, such as earning a bilingual education degree, contact NTEC to find out how we can help.

The Master of Science in Education is offered to currently licensed teachers who wish to earn a master's degree and a bilingual education degree or ESL endorsement.

HOW IT WORKS

The bilingual education degree program is offered in a blended, online format, with both online instruction and face-to-face seminars offered at convenient locations near you. The blended format allows you to have a flexible schedule during the day.

As part of this 36-credit program, Bilingual and ESL candidates will take the 18 credits required to earn a Bilingual or ESL endorsement.

You can complete your degree in as little as 18 months. There are no testing requirements to enter the program. However, candidates for the Bilingual endorsement in Illinois will need to pass the Target Language Proficiency Exam prior to earning the endorsement.

If you are interested in learning more about our ESL degree program or earning your bilingual education degree, contact NTEC today!
